Luis Frias plays a pivotal role at CalTex Capital Group, where his expertise and leadership have been instrumental in shaping our strategic direction in real estate investment across Texas. With a portfolio exceeding $100 Million in Assets Under Management and over 700 units, Luis’s investment approach is about creating value and delivering solid returns to our investors.
Since earning his real estate license in 2015, Luis has been deeply immersed in the world of real estate investing. Starting with brokering multifamily sales, he quickly realized the potential of becoming more directly involved in the properties he was dealing with. This insight led him to transition into investing and becoming an owner-operator, where he could apply his knowledge and strategic vision more directly.
At CalTex, Luis has continued to refine this approach. He’s not just looking for properties; he’s seeking opportunities that align with our disciplined financial criteria, focusing on assets that promise durable profitability. His ability to spot properties with growth potential and his dedication to operational excellence have been key to our success.
Ryan Ketchum
Principal
Ryan Ketchum brings a powerhouse of engineering expertise to CalTex as Principal and Construction Manager, with a legacy rooted in a 16-year tenure that began at The California Polytechnical University of Pomona.
Mr. Ketchum's command over multi-billion dollar developments and acute decision-making skills were honed by managing a diverse portfolio of development projects, including intricate infrastructure, industrial, and residential.
Eight years into real estate investment, Mr. Ketchum's sharp eye for acquisitions and deal analysis has solidified his reputation in multifamily and land development. At CalTex, his seasoned experience guides the maintenance, rehabilitation, and enhancement of our property assets, ensuring they're not just maintained but elevated. Mr. Ketchum's leadership is a cornerstone of CalTex's commitment to excellence and growth in the real estate landscape.
